1st Boot 1.0 [1ST_BOOT] (Eric Johnson, reg. fee: $0) determines if this is
the first time you've booted your computer today.
22Disk 1.40 [22DSK140] (C. P. Guzis and Sydex, reg. fee: $28) is a media
conversion utility for converting data from CP/M disk formats to DOS or vice
versa. NEW: supports 50MHz 80486 and Pentium systems.
22Nice 1.40 [22NCE140] (C. P. Guzis and Sydex, reg. fee: $28) is a
Z-80/8080 CP/M 2.2 emulator. NEW: allows you to intercept I/O instructions
and pass them to an 80x86 handler.
2-Screens 1.0 [2SCREENS] (Wayne Robbins, reg. fee: $10) is a TSR which
allows you to save a text screen and pop it up for viewing later. This could
be very useful in referring back to directory listings, program
documentation, etc.
4Files 3.10 [4FILES] (Larry T. Edwards, reg. fee: $30) is a multi-purpose
file management tool. NEW: improved operation in note and file modes.
4Utils [4UTILS] (Tom Bowden, reg. fee: $0) is a collection of utilities for
use with 4DOS (from PsL MegaDisk set #27589). 4DESC 1.6 is a full-screen
4DOS file description editor with cut and paste capability. 4FF 1.7 displays
file descriptions from within ZIP, ARJ, and LZH files. Turbo Pascal 7.0
source code is included.
Adjust 1.0 [ADJUST] (Jeff Napier, reg. fee: $1) allows you to modify GIF
and PCX files by adjusting contrast, brightness and colors. Requires VGA or
better.
Anadisk 2.07 [ANAD207] (Charles P. Guzis, reg. fee: $28) is a general
purpose utility package to analyze, inspect, edit, repair and copy floppy
diskettes.
AutoCon 2.0x [AUTOCON] (Weaver, Larry, reg. fee: $0) makes it easy to
maintain different system set-up configurations. NEW: allow users to switch
off the DOS 6.0 menu sytem single mode while using AutoCon.
Border 1.0 [BORDER] (Tobin Fricke, reg. fee: $1) changes your computer
display's border color. Requires VGA or EGA monitor.
Command Extra 2.0 [CMDX20] (David Denker, reg. fee: $35) is a 61k TSR which
adds a pop-down menu system with mouse and keyboard controls to the top line
of your DOS screen. You continue to work at the DOS command line. The
function keys can be programmed to execute your most commonly used commands.
CMOS 1.4 [CMOS14] (Roedy Green, reg. fee: $0) restores CMOS settings which
have been wiped out by power surges, battery failure. The original CMOS
configuration is saved in a file and restored when needed.
The Controller 1.27 [CTV127] (Rich Giles, reg. fee: $29) is a script-driven
TSR (32K) which can be used to run any DOS based program.
Curset 3.5 [CURSET] (Mike Heilemann, reg. fee: $10) is a 10k TSR that
transforms the dull blinking DOS cursor to a swirling animated one. Requires
EGA or VGA.
CycleDtr 1.0 [CYCLEDTR] (Robert Smith, reg. fee: $5) helps you to determine
which serial connecter (9 pin or 25 pin) is cabled to which internal port.
It cycles the DTR pin high/low allowing you to test the port with a LED
test light. For use with external modems, it will flash the "TR" LED
indicator.
Desert Frog Screen Scenes 3.3 [DFSS33] (William P. Mann, reg. fee: $23) is
a collection of screen savers for DOS.
DOSmenu 4.1a [DOSMENU] (Skip Bremer, reg. fee: $40) is a menu system for
network and single systems. It can translate NetWare menu files.
EchoBlok 2.3 [ECHOBLK] (Richard N. Wisan, reg. fee: $0) enhances DOS 6's
CONFIG.SYS menu system.
EZ-Labeler 1.0b [EZLBL10B] (Ed Marion, reg. fee: $17-22) is a
self-contained program for printing labels and for exporting label
information to other files. It can be used for making labels for envelopes,
disks, etc.
Fast Access 6.0 [FAMENU] (Peter Muhlhauser, reg. fee: $25) allows you to
access any program from a menu. It also keeps a history of the last 9
programs accessed. Use the keyboard or a mouse to select the program you
want to run.
Fone 6.2d [FONE] (Eugene L. Woods, reg. fee: $50) calculates the
approximate cost of telephone calls before placed, displays on-going call
cost in real time, and serves as a powerful business/personal directory
management tool. Features include address labels, appointment calendar,
phone book of frequently called numbers, on-screen note pad for each client
entry, client reports, modem dialing, auto-redial on a busy signal, call log
report, estimated monthly bill, data importing, user defined fields, and
ASCII file support. Requires 640K RAM, 286 or better, 3.2 MB of hard disk
space, and DOS 3.3
FSK Security System 1.0 [FSK] (Vladimir Kilin, reg. fee: $5) prevents your
computer from being booted without a password (unless booted from a floppy).
It also allows you to have a second password in case someone gets your
primary password and changes it to lock you out of your own system.
HP150Sys 2.0 [HP15S201] (Sydex, reg. fee: $20) is a set of two DOS device
drivers for Hewlett-Packard's HP-150 and HP-150 series II DOS diskettes.
Icon Shell 2.0 [ICONSHL2] (Denis Sureau, reg. fee: $45) is a DOS shell with
a Window-like graphical user interface. NEW: improved menu capabilities.
IniMaint 3.0 [INIMNT1, INIMNT2] (Larry J. Martin, reg. fee: $30 ) allows
OS/2 users to display and edit their INI files.
JCScroll 4.20 [JCSCROLL] (Jeffrey Chasen, reg. fee: $15) is a TSR which
lets you view text that has scrolled off the screen in DOS.
Kate Workplace 1.30 [KATE130] (Rob McDonell, reg. fee: $35) is a desktop
manager that includes a text editor and viewer, file manager, an appointment
calendar, hypertext compiler and viewer, a clock, calculator, screen
blanker, and more.
Mao 3.0 [MAO] (Jean-Guy Lavallee, reg. fee: $20) is a shell for DOS which
allows you to archive files and view text files, as well as perform many DOS
file management tasks.
MemSize 1.41 [MEMSZ141] (Stanley R. Weiss, reg. fee: $5) displays disk
space, memory and system information.
Menu-EZX 1.12b [MNUZ112B] (Ed Marion, reg. fee: $52-57) sets up your hard
drive with simple menus, passwords and more.
NoteWare 3.0 [NOTEWARE] (Lee Nelson, reg. fee: $29) is a 16K TSR notepad.
NEW: functions to insert the current date and time, list the files in the
current directory, and a function similar to Windows' UNDO. Also included is
an ASCII chart, a monthly calendar, and a non-TSR version of NoteWare.
PCXDump 9.0 [PCXDUMP] (Jesper Frandsen, reg. fee: $30) is a 9K TSR that
saves graphic screen to a disk file in PCX format. NEW: prints black and
white images to an HP LaserJet compatible printer.
Q387 3.6 [Q387] (QuickWare, reg. fee: $25) is a math accelerator and
emulator. It allows you to run applications which require a math coprocessor
and programs which require a math chip. This demo only runs for 20 minutes.
RainDOS 1.12 [RAIND112] (Sydex, reg. fee: $15) is a DOS device driver DEC's
Rainbow DOS diskettes.
SCROLLit 1.8 [SCRLIT18] (Charles Aitkens, reg. fee: $17) is a screen
backscroll utility which allows you to bring back into view lines that have
already scrolled off the screen. NEW: captures the entire screen whenever a
BIOS clear-screen request is intercepted, and captures the entire screen
whenever the video mode is changed.
Super DOS 3.0 [SDOS] (Jean-Guy Lavallee, reg. fee: $0) a colorful
replacement for the DOS prompt that displays time and date at the command
line. It also allows you to redefine function keys, set alarms, create
passwords, automatically perform a carriage return after a specified number
of seconds, and more.
ShowMe Saver 3.90 [SHOWME] (Harold Schwartz, reg. fee: $10) is a screen
saver which displays a randomly changing graphic image while showing a
message of your choice.
Sieve 1.0 [SIEVE] (Marc Perkel, reg. fee: $0) tests the actual processor
speed of your computer as compared to the IBM PC/XT.
EveryDay 2.20 [SOSEVD] (Solid Oak Software, reg. fee: $0) automates tasks
at boot time, It allows you to specify what operations are performed on a
daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Sys Info 2.50 [SYSINF] (Tobin Fricke, reg. fee: $5) displays information
about your computer.
System Monitor 3.0 [SYSMON30] (Rosenthal Engineering, reg. fee: $49)
monitors and reports problems early, maintains performance and resolves
hardware/software and MS Windows conflicts.
Tasker 1.95 [TASKER] (SkinnyMan Applications, reg. fee: $15) will execute
any program and parameters, or command line input at any prescheduled time.
It uses any specified taskfile, and features LAN compatibility, logging
feature, screen redirection during task execution and more.
Tape Librarian 1.24 [TL_124] (It's Magic! PC Potions, reg. fee: $34)
creates and maintains a catalog of the contents of your computer's backup
tapes. It supports Colorado Memory System's Jumbo and Trakker 120/ 250 tape
drives.
Toddy 6.0 [TODDY] (Tauck, Eric, reg. fee: $10) is a 2k TSR utility that
enhances the built-in DOS line editing. NEW: added key macros and better
command history management.
TSR Tutor Package [TSR] (Birken Software, reg. fee: $5) is a set of TSRs
including an on-screen DOS clock, screen blanker, and a program that slows
down your computer to any rate specified.
TSR Utilities 3.5 [TSRCOM] (Kim Kokkonen, reg. fee: $0) is a group of
programs (also known as MARK-RELEASE) useful in managing memory-resident
utilities. NEW: improved and added support for MS-DOS 6.0, QEMM 7.0, EMM386,
and MSCDEX CD-ROM's.
UNIVBE 1.2v4.2 [UNIVBE42] (SciTech Software, reg. fee: $20) is a TSR which
extends the video BIOS of SuperVGA video cards to make them VESA compatible.
ST-View OS/2 Version 4.1 [VIEW41OS] (Clint McBee, reg. fee: $5) is a
menu-driven file viewing and printing utility for OS/2.
VPRVESA 1.2 [VPRVESA] (Himalaya Software, reg. fee: $30-40) is a VESA VBE
video driver for the Diamond Viper card. It supports both 15-bit and 16-bit
HiColor modes and has dual buffering for the 640x400x256 video mode.
Warp Driver 2.30 [WARP] (Eric Tauck, reg. fee: $0) is an improvement over
DOS's ANSI.SYS. NEW: added auto-pause timeout, support for Paradise text
modes 66H, 67H, and 69H, and now responds to interrupt 2FH ANSI query.
